Kidivity (“the app”) is provided by Sarang AI Technologies Inc. (“we”, “us”), incorporated in Alberta, Canada. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Kidivity is built to be privacy-first. There is no account, no ads, and no third-party analytics or trackers, and we never sell your data. Your child's first name and birthday never leave your device. Kidivity has a built-in library that works offline; when your device is online, the app sends a small amount of non-identifying information to our servers to fetch fresh ideas and power a couple of features. Kidivity ships with a built-in library of activities that works fully offline. When your device is online, the app sends limited information to our servers so it can suggest fresh ideas:
We do not send your child's name or birthday, your contact details, your location, or anything else that identifies you or your child.
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers ("processors"), each of which only receives what it needs to do its job:
Kidivity Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see or store your payment-card details. Google's handling of that transaction is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Kidivity is designed for parents and caregivers — it is intended to be used by an adult, not by a child. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no cross-app tracking.
On-device data persists until you delete it or uninstall the app. On our servers, the randomly-generated identifier and the record of which activities you've reacted to are kept only to avoid repeating suggestions, are not linked to your identity, and are automatically deleted after 120 days. The text you type into "Describe your moment" is sent to our AI provider to return a suggestion and is not stored by us.
You can use Kidivity's built-in library offline, without sending anything to our servers. When you're online, the app uses the limited data described above to fetch fresh ideas. You can clear all on-device data at any time from your device settings, or by uninstalling the app.
For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Sarang AI Technologies Inc. is the data controller. Our legal basis for handling the limited, non-identifying information described above is our legitimate interest in providing and improving the app's core function (suggesting suitable activities). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. Because we hold only a random identifier not linked to your identity, we may be unable to locate data about a specific person; on-device data is under your control (clear it or uninstall), and server-side activity data auto-deletes after 120 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
International transfers. Our providers (including Anthropic and Railway) are based in the United States, so the limited information described above may be processed there. Where required, such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell or share your (or your child's) personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; the app is intended for parents and caregivers.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
